This is the first lesson in the series that provides an overview of the Mediterranean Diet and general cooking concepts. 

It's a great place to start if you are new to cooking or just want to learn how to incorporate the Mediterranean diet into your lifestyle.

Choose Your Dish...

We encourage attendees to choose one Entrée and the Salad to make during this class.  Remember, you will have about 60 minutes to cook.

If you're interested in a dish but it does not seem to fit your dietary preference, know that we offer a variety of ingredient substitutions that will allow you to make many of our meals fit your dietary preference.

*Dietary Preferences:  DF = Dairy Free, GF = Gluten Free, NF = Nut Free, V = Vegetarian, VE = Vegan

Potential Equipment Needed:  Aluminum foil, Apron, Burner or Stovetop, Container with a lid or jar with a lid, Grater, Large chef knife, Large cutting board, Measuring cups, Measuring spoons, Medium mixing bowl, Medium sized sauté pan with a lid, Metal spoon, Peeler, Refrigerator, Small mixing bowls, Tongs, Wooden spoon
